AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts women's lacrosse team concludes the regular season Saturday at Richmond. The Minutewomen and the Spiders begin play at 12 p.m. on ESPN+.

Last Time Out
UMass picked up its 10th straight win with a 19-2 victory over George Washington on Senior Day Saturday. Kassidy Morris and Charlotte Wilmoth led 11 different goal scorers for the Minutewomen with four goals each while Jordan Dean posted 18 draw controls to set a new UMass single season record in the category.

Series History
Saturday's matchup marks the 35th all-time meeting between UMass and Richmond dating back to the first contest between the two during the 2002 season. UMass holds a 23-11 all-time series lead after the teams split a pair of games a season ago, with the Minutewomen claiming the regular season contest with a 22-12 win before falling to the Spiders in the A-10 Championship game, 20-13.

Make It 10
The Minutewomen head into Saturday on a 10-game winning streak dating back to a 20-8 win over George Mason on March 9. UMass is unbeaten in A-10 play with an 8-0 mark and has outscored its opponents 182-79 during the winning streak.

A-10 Weekly
Fiona McGowan secured her second Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week award on Monday while Audra Tosone was tabbed the A-10 Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks. McGowan finished last week with 12 points on four goals and eight assists, including posting 10 points against UConn to mark the most by an A-10 player this season. Tosone caused seven turnovers, added four ground balls, and picked up a goal and an assist to anchor a UMass defense that allowed just 5.5 goals per game over the week.

Quick Draw
Jordan Dean set a new UMass single season record with 221 in Saturday's win over GW and is just 13 draw controls away from setting a new Division I single season record. Dean leads the nation in draw controls per game at 14.73 with the single season DI record set by UMass alum Caitlyn Petro in 2021 with a 13.75 average. The junior has reached double-digit in draw controls in 13-of-15 games this season and has posted 17 or more in seven games. Dean ranks second all-time at UMass in career draw controls, with Hannah Murphy (2014-17) holding the record with 522.

Helping Hand
Fiona McGowan moved into third all-time at UMass in career assists after finishing with seven in in the win over UConn and added an assist against GW to tie Holly Turner's (2018) 51 for second most. McGowan needs just five assists to pass Erika Eipp (2016) for the program record while her 122 career assists is third most all-time. The attacker ranks fourth among Division I leaders in assists per game with 3.40 and is fifth in total assists with 51. McGowan also ranks fourth all-time in career points at UMass with 235.

Team Rankings
UMass leads Division I teams in draw control percentage and draw controls per game heading into the final week of regular season action. The Minutewomen are also second nationally in assists per game at 9.80 while their 25.73 points per game is third among DI squads. UMass averages 15.93 goals per game to mark the nation's ninth highest scoring offense while its 9.80 goals allowed per contest is 22nd best in Division I.

Mo' Goals
Kassidy Morris leads the Minutewomen and the Atlantic 10 in goals this season with 58 and has hat tricks in six straight games heading into the weekend. Morris ranks 10th among Division I leaders in total goals while her 3.87 goals per game is 12th-most nationally. The attacker has picked up hat tricks in 13-of-15 games this season with five or more goals in four games, including seven in wins over VCU and UConn.

Causin' Problems
Audra Tosone became the second Minutewoman in program history to reach 100 caused turnovers for her career as she finished with a pair in UMass' 20-7 win at Duquesne. The 2023 A-10 Defensive Player of the Year has caused 111 turnovers for her career and is five away from setting a new program record that's currently held by Kristin St. Hilaire's (2002-05) 115. This season, Tosone has nine games with multiple caused turnovers and has 19 in over the last six contests.

A-10 Championship
