Coast-To-Coast Watch Parties Lined Up For Frozen Four Match-Up

Alumni all across the country are organizing to celebrate the Minutemen’s first-ever trip to the NCAA Frozen Four.
AMHERST, Mass. – With just under a week to go until the NCAA Frozen Four match-up between the University of Massachusetts and Denver in the national semifinals (Thursday, April 11, 8:30 PM), watch parties across the country are already being organized.
From Massachusetts to California, check out the listing below of where alumni can gather to watch the Minutemen as they take on the Pioneers on ESPN2 next Thursday for the right to play for the national title.
Visit the UMass Alumni Association website each day leading up to the Frozen Four as more watch parties will certainly come together. As new locations are added, we will share our map on social media to keep fans and alumni up-to-date.
Any interested groups who want to put together a function should contact Associate Athletic Director Alan Pandiani (apan@umass.edu) so that we can promote your event.
Alumni groups or fans hosting watch parties while the Minutemen are playing in the Frozen Four are encouraged to share photos of their group using the hashtag #NewMass so that we can share on the hockey and athletics social media accounts.
UMass enters the Frozen Four with a 30-9 overall record and won its first-ever Hockey East Regular-Season title this year. In the NCAA Northeast Regional, the Minutemen defeated Harvard and Notre Dame 4-0 each to reach the NCAA national semifinals.
The official pregame gathering in Buffalo during the Frozen Four will be at the 716 Food and Sports Restaurant (7 Scott Street) starting at 5 PM.
