Kiley Anderson scores career-high four goals for Minutewomen.

Syracuse used a balanced offensive effort with 10 players scoring in the game. Emily Hawryschuk led the Orange with three goals and an assist. Riley Donahue had a game-high five points on two goals and three assists. Asa Goldstock made seven saves to pick up with win in goal.

The two teams traded goals over the first seven minutes of play before Hawryschuk and Donahue scored back-to-back tallies to put Syracuse up 3-1 at the 19:46 mark of the first half. Santos scored for UMass two minutes later to bring the Minutewomen back within a goal.

The Orange scored five straight over a 14 minute period extending its lead over the Minutewomen 8-2 with 3:07 remaining in the first half. Each team picked up a goal in the final minute as Syracuse took a 9-3 lead into the intermission.
