Minutemen Win Regular Season Title, Will Host A-10 Quarters Sunday

AMHERST, Mass. –The No. 25-ranked University of Massachusetts men's soccer team will host No. 8-seed Saint Louis as the No. 1-seed in the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament after winning the regular season title for the first time since 2008 and for the fifth time in program history. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday at Rudd Field. The semifinals and championship game of the conference tournament will be held at Baujan Field in Dayton, Ohio on Nov. 10-12.

The Minutemen (12-3-3 Overall, 6-1-1 A-10) defeated Saint Louis (7-8-1 Overall, 4-4-0 A-10) in the league opening game back on Sept. 30 on the road 3-1 behind two goals from Davis Smith and one from Alex DeSantis.

The winner of the Sunday contest will move on to Dayton, Ohio to take on the winner of the No. 4 Dayton and No. 5 Fordham match on Friday, Nov. 10 at 4:30 p.m.
