AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse program and head coach Greg Cannella announced the 2015 spring season schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The upcoming slate features seven games at Garber Field, including Senior Night under the lights on April 24.

The Minutemen start the campaign as they have each of the previous four when they face Army for a Saturday, Feb. 7 game, which serves as the home opener for the Maroon and White. One week later UMass will travel to North Carolina for a contest in Chapel Hill ahead of a tilt at Harvard in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Feb. 21.

Brown is set to be the second opponent to face the Minutemen at Garber Field as the Bears head to Amherst for a Saturday, Feb. 28 meeting. After a game at Albany on March 7, the Minutemen bring Quinnipiac (Tuesday, March 10) and Penn State (Saturday, March 14) to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

UMass will start Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) competition with two consecutive games on the road in Hempstead, New York, at Hofstra on March 21 and at Towson the following weekend. Fairfield, a newcomer to the CAA in 2015, travels to Garber Field for an April 4 contest before the Minutemen wrap up non-conference competition at Hartford on April 11.

Back-to-back Saturday home games against Drexel and Delaware close the regular season. The Dragons visit on April 18 ahead of Senior Night against the Blue Hens on April 24.

The CAA Tournament semifinal round will be played on Wednesday, April 29, with the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds serving as the host institutions. The winners of the two opening round games will compete for the 2015 CAA Championship on Saturday, May 2.
