NEWTON, Mass. - Former UMass men's lacrosse standouts James Fahey and Connor Mooney will compete in the 2014 edition of the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East-West Senior Game, as announced by the organization on Friday afternoon. The contest will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 30 at Springfield College in Springfield, Mass.

Mooney was a consistent contributor on offense for Massachusetts during 2014 as the midfielder provided at least one points in each contest and multiple during 11 of 13 games. He was named to the All-CAA Second Team and NEILA All-New England First Team following the completion of the season.

Fahey finished 2014 with career-highs in groundballs (31) and caused turnovers (20) while starting all 13 contests at close defense. He will also appear in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) North-South All-Star Game alongside Mooney.

The NEILA East-West Senior Game squads are made up of 25-man rosters from across all divisions of New England collegiate lacrosse programs.
