Game Notes

 Massachusetts travels to Olean N.Y. to take on St. Bonaventure in a two-game series Friday and Saturday at McGraw-Jennings Field.

Scouting UMass
 UMass (7-15, 2-2) has won four of its last five games, including a sweep of Dayton last Saturday. The Minutewomen are in a 3-way tie for fifth with a .500 winning pct.
 The Minutewomen are hitting .261 on the year and has seen its avg rise by 30 points in the last six games. UMass has 12 home runs, 28 doubles and four triples. The team is fifth in BA and second in fielding, with a .957 pct.
 Junior Quianna Diaz-Patterson leads the league with a .431 avg and is first with a .512 on-base pct.

Scouting St. Bonaventure
 St. Bona (4-22, 1-2) picked up its lone A-10 win last weekend against Saint Louis. The Bonnies dropped a pair to Canisius on Wednesday.
 SBU is hitting .227 and has a 6.42 team ERA.

Series With St. Bonaventure
 The Minutewomen are 49-1 all-time against the Bonnies, having won the last 10 games in the series.
 UMass has posted 23 shutouts and held SBU hitless six times, most recently a perfect game by Sara Plourde two years ago in Olean.
