Hollenbaugh To Participate In NEILA East/West Game

AMHERST, Mass. - UMass men's lacrosse alumnus Ryan Hollenbaugh will compete in the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association East/West contest, as announced by the organization on Thursday. Hollenbaugh is one of 48 student-athletes from across NCAA Divisions I, II and III set to participate.
The annual event, hosted on Friday, May 31, at Merrimack College, pits selected players from each of NEILA's member institutions against each other in friendly competition, with the teams divided into East and West squads. Hollenbaugh will serve as one of six close defenseman for the West team.
The Glastonbury, Conn., native was a three-year starter for Greg Cannella's Minutemen program, scooping up 67 groundballs and causing 46 turnovers over 56 games played. As a senior, Hollenbaugh totaled single-season career-highs with 27 groundballs and 18 caused turnovers to help earn All-CAA Second Team honors for the third consecutive year.
