Biscardi Named USILA Lacrosse All-American

UMass junior midfielder Anthony Biscardi was named a USILA Honorable Mention All-American on Thursday. The honors continue to build for the Wantagh N.Y., native, who has already been named an All-CAA selection and All-New England pick.
Biscardi was an All-CAA first-team selection in 2011 after being a second-team pick in 2010. He finished third on the team in goals with 20 and has 10 assists for 30 points, third on UMass. Biscardi had eight multi-goal games in 2011 including the CAA Semifinal overtime win at Penn State on May 4. He scored the game-winner in OT to propel UMass into the CAA Championship.
The Minutemen finished the year 10-5 overall and claimed a share of the New England Championship, the team's 22nd NEILA title in history.
