AMHERST, Mass. - 2011 UMass Softball Season Tickets are on sale now! The 22-time Atlantic 10 Champions are primed for another successful season in 2011 and the Minutewomen look forward to you joining them at the UMass Softball Complex for their 18 home games on 12 dates. Tickets can be ordered by calling 866-UMASS-TIX or by visiting the ticket page at UMassAthletics.com.
UMass softball season tickets are once again the best deal around, with plans ranging from $26 to $70 - that works out to between $1.44 and $3.89 per game! Purchasing softball season tickets also earns you Priority Points towards other UMass season tickets, including basketball, football, and hockey.

Head Coach Elaine Sortino's Minutewomen host their home opener on March 30 with a doubleheader against Dartmouth. That begins a stretch of seven out of eight game being played at the UMass Softball Complex. They play Saint Louis, Connecticut, and St. Bonaventure in that span as well.
Just as the weather warms up at the end of April, so does the action as the UMass Softball Complex as the Minutewomen close the regular season with 11 out of the last 13 games at home, including a 10-game homestand. It all begins on April 22 with a doubleheader vs. Syracuse, before hosting Boston University, a weekend two-game set against A-10 runner-up Fordham, La Salle, and in-state rival Boston College. After a May 7 doubleheader at Rhode Island, UMass closes the regular season on May 8 with a Senior Day contest against Quinnipiac.
The Minutewomen return a strong core from last season's A-10 champ and NCAA Tournament squad, including A-10 Pitcher of the Year and All-American pitcher Sara Plourde, A-10 Co-Player of the Year Katie Bettencourt, and All-Conference performers in catcher Meghan Carta and Kyllie Magill. Coach Sortino has also brought in a talented group of seven freshmen that are expected to make immediate contributions.
UMass opens the season on Feb. 18-20 at the FAU Kickoff Classic in Boca Raton, Fla.
