Softball Against UConn Called Off For Thursday

AMHERST, Mass. - The No. 21 UMass softball team's game against Connecticut, slated for 5 p.m. on Thursday, has been canceled and will not be made up. The Minutewomen return to action on Sunday when they host Dayton in a noon doubleheader at the UMass Softball Complex.

With the threat of rain in Storrs on Wednesday, the Huskies' Big East doubleheader against Seton Hall has been moved to Thursday, resulting in the scheduled game with the Minutewomen to be called off.

UMass and UConn met on April 16 in Storrs with the Minutewomen coming away with a 12-0 victory.
