Wellman, Carzo Featured At NHL Prospect Camps

AMHERST, Mass. - Rising sophomore Casey Wellman and incoming freshman Rocco Carzo were both featured after working out in NHL Prospect Camps. Wellman, the 2008-09 Hockey East Rookie Scoring leader, impressed at the Nashville Predators camp, while Carzo, a native of Media, Pa., had a dream come true to put on a Flyers sweater.
Wellman was mentioned in a video on the Predators web site highlighted his physical conditioning at the camp.
For Carzo, getting a chance to work out with the Flyers was a surreal experience.
"I was a little bit surprised to hear from the Flyers. I grew up watching guys like Eric Lindros and John LeClair and now I am skating on the same ice and putting on the same jersey. I am still on cloud nine right now."
