AMHERST, Mass. - UMass basketball players Tony Gaffney and Luke Bonner and hockey standouts Will Ortiz and Cory Quirk read to children at Mosier Elementary and Plains Elementary schools as part of the "Nation's Largest Reading Celebration" today. Monday marked Dr. Seuss' 105th birthday, and as part of the celebration, the four UMass athletes donned "Cat in the Hat" caps and read stories to the first and third graders.
