AMHERST, Mass. - Brian Jacovina continues to garner accolades for his achievements on and off the lacrosse field. He has been a USILA Scholar All-American. Jacovina has also been named to the NEILA Senior Scholar-Athlete Team in addition to All-New England honors.
He is one of eight Division I players on the team.
Jacovina was an All-New England First-Team pick in addition to being a NEILA Senior Scholar-Athlete and UMass' Male Spring Scholar-Athlete. He was tied for third in the team in scoring with 24 points, as he led in assists with 18. He also had 23 groundballs.
He played in the North-South All-Star Classic last weekend in Baltimore and will play in the Major League Lacrosse Warrior Challenge on Thursday at Stony Brook.
