ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Saint Louis midfielder Ryan Wileman celebrated Senior Day with a pair of goals and an assist as the Billikens rolled past Massachusetts 5-0 in Atlantic 10 Conference men's soccer on Sunday afternoon before 1,394 fans at Robert R. Hermann Stadium. Every Billiken senior field player figured in the scoring as the seniors totaled nine points (3G, 3A) for the afternoon, while senior keeper Jeff Sackman played the first half of the shutout.

Wileman got the scoring started in the 14th minute on a six-yard shot with freshman midfielder Eric Sweetin assisting.

Freshman forward Dado Hamzagic connected from 10 yards in the 19th minute as midfielders Kyle Patterson and John DiRaimondo assisted. Wileman netted his second tally in the 22nd minute, as he was the recipient of Hamzagic's goalmouth pass six yards from the right post. Senior Andrew Moses made the initial pass to Hamzagic from left of the UMass penalty area.

DiRaimondo scored his sixth goal in his last four games by ramming home a 10-yard drive in the 43rd minute. Again after senior back Danny Wynn forced the action up the left flank and found Hamzagic to the left of the UMass goal, the freshman forward sent a back heel to DiRaimondo flashing in from the right flank. The Bills carried the four-goal margin to halftime as SLU out-shot the Minutemen 12-5 in the opening half.

Senior midfielder Patrick Garcia finished the scoring in the 61st minute with his second career goal. Freshman midfielder Eric Sweetin found Wileman breaking in on the right flank. Wileman drew the Minutemen's defense to him before deftly slipping a pass to Garcia breaking in on the left, and Garcia drilled a 10-yard shot inside the left post.

Saint Louis out-shot Massachusetts (4-9-0 overall, 0-3-0 A-10) 19-7. Sackman and Bills sophomore keeper Pat Disbennett each made two saves to record the shutout. Minutemen keeper Zack Simmons (Durham, N.H.) made four stops in the first half, and Nick Billman (St. Louis, Mo.) made three stops in the second half.

UMass will begin a four-game home stand on Friday, Oct. 21 when the Minutemen host George Washington.
