Two Preseason Games On Tap For UMass

AMHERST, Mass. - Head Coach Jim Rudy will lead the UMass women's soccer into a pair of preseason exhibition games. The Minutewomen will face Siena on Aug. 18 in a special game at Gateway Regional High School under the lights at 7 p.m. Tickets for this game will be on sale for $3 for adults and $2 for students and children. UMass will also play host to McGill University of Quebec in a preseason game at Rudd Field on August 22. That game will kickoff at 2 p.m. Admission to this game is free. McGill is one of the top teams in Canadian college soccer, as the Marlets took home the bronze medal as the nation's third-best collegiate team in 2003. The Minutewomen will open their regular-season on Aug. 29 as they host Boston University at Rudd Field at 1 p.m.
