AMHERST, Mass. - Sophomore attack Sean Morris (Marshfield, Mass.) was named the ECAC Riddell Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Minutemen to a 9-6 victory over Rutgers on Senior Day at Garber Field. It is the ninth weekly award won by a UMass player this season.

Morris sparked the Minutemen to a 9-6 victory over Rutgers on Senior Day in front of a national television audience. He tallied two goals and two assists, including the game-winner early in the fourth quarter. Finished the season with 24 points in only 10 games, and led the team in assists with 17, including 16 helpers in the last six games. He will enter next season with 46 career points (21 g, 25 a).

UMass' season concluded with a 7-7 record.
