Soccer Team Announces Alumni Weekend Plans

AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts men's soccer coach Sam Koch has announced plans for the Alumni Weekend and Annual Team Banquet scheduled for the weekend on May 3. The weekend begins on May 3 and will conclude on Sunday, May 4.
The weekend will begin on Saturday with a round-robin spring scrimmage involving Northeastern, UMass Lowell, Dartmouth and the Minutemen. UMass will play at 10:00 a.m, 11:15 a.m and again at 12:30 p.m. Following these games, the Alumni game (odds vs. evens) will commence at 2:00 p.m. The Team Banquet/Alumni Dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Mullins Center Massachusetts Room. The banquet will recap a successful 2002 season, present awards and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow alumni, players and friends of UMass soccer. On Sunday, there will be tee times available for those interested in a round of golf.
Koch hopes to get as many alumni as possible to attend at least some portion of the weekend. Your support will be greatly appreciated by the players and staff. The cost of the whole weekend will be $50...this includes a 100% cotton alumni game jersey, a 5-star dinner, annual alumni game, and the opportunity to catch up on what other alums are doing in the real world.
