Minutemen and Eagles To Square Off Once More

Jan. 30, 2003

Boston College enters tonight's game ranked sixth in the country and in a first-place tie in Hockey East with 23 points. The Eagles are on a roll, winning five-of-six games since falling to UMass, 3-2, on Jan. 3. The lone stumble in that span was a 4-1 loss to Providence last Friday night. UMass, meanwhile, split last weekend's series with Northeastern by identical 3-2 scores. The Minutemen had been ranked in one of the two major polls the last three weeks, but fell out thanks to the split. The Minutemen are just 1-4-0 in their last five games, but are 4-5-1 in their last 10.

The puck drops at 7:00 p.m. at Conte Forum.
