AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts will play Fairfield in the first round of the 2002 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament on Saturday, May 11, at Brown Stadium in Providence, R.I., at 3:00 p.m. Tickets for the game can be purchased at the gate on gameday or in advance over the telephone by calling either the Brown University or UMass ticket offices. The phone number for Brown is (401) 863-2773, and the phone number for the UMass Athletic Ticket Office is 1-866-UMASS-TIX.
Tickets are $12.00 for adults, $7.00 for UMass students and $5.00 for children 12-and-under. Tickets are good for both games of the double-header, and all tickets are general admission. Cornell plays Stony Brook in the first game, which is slated to begin at 12:00 noon. The UMass game will begin approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
