Hockey Heads North to Battle Ninth-ranked Black Bears

One week after winning in Northeastern's Matthews Arena for the first time in nine games, the Minutemen will look to exorcise the Alfond Arena demons on Nov. 9. The Minutemen are 0-17-0 all-time at Maine's Alfond Arena and are only 2-25-2 against the Black Bears. Face-off is at 7:00 p.m. in Orono, Maine. UMass is coming off a 5-3 win over Northeastern, while Maine swept Mercyhurst, 5-0 and 7-0, last weekend.
