Marc Morley Named ECAC Lacrosse Player of the Week

AMHERST, Mass. -- Junior attackman Marc Morley (Canton, N.Y.) was named the ECAC Lacrosse player of the week after scoring nine goals and two assists in the two victories this week for the ninth-ranked University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse team.
Morley scored five goals and two assists for a career-high seven points in the Minutemen's 15-5 victory over Brown this past Saturday afternoon. Morley scored two goals in the first quarter, one in the second and two more in the fourth as UMass closed out the season with a 12-2 overall record.
This past Wednesday, Morley helped lead UMass to a share of the ECAC Lacrosse title by scoring four goals in a 17-7 victory over Rutgers. He scored two goals in the second quarter and added single tallies in both the third and the fourth.
Morley finished the season second on UMass in goals with 29 and third in points with 37. He also scooped up 31 ground balls. For his career, Morley now has 42 goals and 24 assists for 68 points.
