AMHERST, Mass. -- The University of Massachusetts ice hockey game against Brown scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 30, at the Mullins Center has been postponed due to the impending winter storm. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 2, at 5:00 p.m. at the Mullins Center. The hockey program will host a holiday skate-around following the conclusion of the game.
"This is a great opportunity for our fans to get a chance to meet the players and skate on the Mullins Center ice," said first-year head coach Don Cahoon. "It's a great way for us to interact with the people who support us throughout the year. It should be a fun day for everyone involved."
The day will begin at 5:00 p.m. as the Minutemen play host to New England rival Brown. Tickets are available at the UMass Athletic Ticket Office, the Mullins Center Box Office and all TicketMaster locations. Group tickets are available for groups of 20 or more at a special discounted rate. For more ticket information call (413) 545-0810.
