DAYTON, Ohio - Three members of the UMass men's soccer team have been named to the Atlantic 10 Conference's all-conference teams, it was announced this evening at the league's annual pre-Championship awards dinner at the Dayton Marriott.
Senior Adam Black (San Jose, Calif.), who earned second team honors last year, was named to the first team. He is the first Minuteman to earn such honors since Mike Butler earned the award three consecutive years from 1995-97. Black's 16 goals on the season are second all-time in UMass history, and his 38 points are third in school single-season history.
Sophomore Fred Kinateder (Waukehsa, Wis.) and senior Jonathan Bibb (London, England) each garnered second team honors. Kinateder is second on the team in scoring with ten goals - including three game-winners - and 23 points. Bibb leads the team with nine assists, which ranks second-highest in school single-season history.
