As a Graduate Student in 2022: Named to the Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Conference Honors… Named Preseason Atlantic 10 Player of the Year by Inside Lacrosse… Earned Atlantic 10 All-Academic honors…Connaughton was named a team captain during her final stint with UMass…started in 12 out of the 16 games she saw action in…Recorded 37 points on 16 goals and a team leading 21 assists… Notched her 200th career point in a 22-4 victory over St. Bonaventure where she had 3 assists… Had a season best 6 points with 2 goals and 4 assists to help defeat La Salle (4/14)... Had a goal and 4 assists in a tightly contested win over Davidson (4/23)
As a Senior In 2021: Started all eighteen contests in 2021 finishing first on the team in total points (83), compiling 42 goals and 41 assists. She finished second in the A10 in both points per game at 4.61 and assists per game at 2.28. Connaughton led the charge for the second ranked scoring offense in the country and finished in the top 20 in the NCAA for total assists and assists per game. Recorded multi point games in all but one contest collecting a season high 9 points (5g, 4a) in the season opener against Boston University (2/28). Career high in assists with 6 in a home game against A10 rival Saint Joesph's (4/9) while also adding 2 goals for 8 points. While helping guide the Minutewomen to the 2021 Atlantic Ten Conference Championship, she tallied 3 goals and 3 assists in the conference tournament landing a spot on the A10 All-Tournament Team. Connaughton also claimed the A10 Co-Offensive Player of the Year award as well as All-Conference First team. In addition, she was named to the Northeast-All Region First team and IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
