Women's Lacrosse's Lyons Garners Offensive Player Of The Week Honors From The MAC

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts women's lacrosse junior attack Dylan Lyons has been recognized for her performance last week as she was selected as the MAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday. It marks the fifth time this season that a member of the Minutewomen has been honored with a weekly award from the conference.

Lyons tallied a team-high three points via two goals and one assist against UConn. Lyons scored the first two goals of the game and had a hand in three of the first four.

On the season, she is second on the team in goals (16) and tied for second in points (23).

UMass will be back in action on Saturday, March 14, when the squad opens MAC play at Youngstown State at 12 p.m.
