Kelly Signs With Cliftonville Football Club

Aidan Kelly signed his professional contract with Cliftonville Football Club in January.
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts senior defender Aidan Kelly signed a professional contract with Cliftonville Football Club in January.
Kelly was tabbed to the United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region Team in 2024, while earning a 2023 Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team selection and a 2022 A-10 All-Rookie Team honor. He was also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
The Belfast, Northern Ireland, started in 71 games of 74 played during his career with the Minutemen, totaling 6,361 minutes on the pitch. Kelly scored nine goals and added five assists for a total of 23 points. He took 77 shots, placing 42 on goal.
Kelly returns to the Cliftonville Football Club after having played for the team prior to his time with UMass. He also captained the Cliftonville FC Olympic Team.
