AMHERST, Mass. -- No. 20 Massachusetts (3-1-1) duked it out with Bryant (4-0-1) in a physical matchup at Rudd Field on Saturday, falling short 1-0 in the Minutemen's first loss of the year.

  • UMass opened play aggressively, tallying the first six shots with two on goal from Matt Fordham and Ivan Vrh.
  • Bryant's Mamadi Jiana recorded the first shot on goal for the Bulldogs, as Alex Geczy made his first save of the day.
