NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Minutemen (1-1-2) secured their first win of the season on Saturday night, emerging victorious in a 4-3 slugfest against the defending Ivy League Champions, Yale (0-3-0).
Alec Hughes notched a brace on the night, becoming the third All-Time goal scorer in program history. Hughes also added an assist to his point total, linking up with Mike Willis to play Shane Velez in for the first score of the night. Velez, Willis, and Hughes each recorded a goal and an assist on Saturday.
