AMHERST, Mass. - Massachusetts heads to the 2024 Atlantic 10 Softball Championship facing the No. 4-seeded Fordham Rams on Wednesday, May 8 at 12:00 p.m. at the Bahoshy Softball Complex in Bronx, NY in the tournaments opening matchup. Last Time Out:

The Minutewomen come into the week after a 2-1 weekend against conference opponent Saint Joseph's. Senior Sarah Keagy continues to be a catalyst at the plate, leading the team in home runs (10), RBI (31) and slugging percentage (.532). In the circle, junior Julianne Bolton continues to be a strong presence, leading the staff in games started (24), strikeouts (117) and complete games (13). 

Atlantic 10 Tournament History:

Massachusetts softball is no stranger to the Atlantic 10 Championship Tournament with 23 championships under their belt. The Minutewomen hold an 88-29 overall record, making their 35th A-10 Championship appearance.  Wednesday's match-up against Fordham will be the Minutewomen's 117th A-10 Championship game appearance. 

Scouting The Rams:

Fordham: The Minutewomen challenge a familiar face in Fordham, holding a 2-1 record against the Rams this season. The Rams enter the mid-week match-up after a 1-2 weekend against Loyola Chicago. Fordham is driven by junior Sydney Wells who leads the team in home runs (11), RBI (47) and slugging percentage (.652). The Rams pitching staff is led by Graduate Student Devon Miller, who leads the squad in ERA (3.10) and strikeouts (129).
