UMass' Torres Named MAC Softball Player Of The Week

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts junior infielder Odyssey Torres has been named the MAC Softball Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
The Los Angeles, Calif. native helped spark the offensive unit for the Minutewomen, hitting .600 at the plate with six extra base hits over five games at the Low Country Classic in Charleston, S.C. Torres had multiple hits in four of the five contests, and helped lead UMass to four consecutive victories.
