Bell Prepares For 2024 USA Diving Winter National Championships

Andrew Bell will compete in the one-meter and three-meter dives beginning on Friday, Dec. 13.
AMHERST, Mass. – Junior Andrew Bell of the University of Massachusetts men's diving team will compete at the 2024 USA Diving Winter National Championships at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatics Center in Bloomington, Indiana. Bell will participate in the one-meter event on Friday, December 13, and the three-meter event on Saturday, December 14.
Friday's one-meter dive will begin with the preliminary round at 12:15 p.m., with finals taking place at 6:10 p.m. On Saturday, the three-meter preliminaries are set for 10 a.m., before the finals start at 4 p.m. The national meet can be streamed here.
Earlier this season, Bell broke two poll records at the Lineberry Natatorium at the Justin Jennings Invitational in both the one- and three-meter dives. The South Windsor, Connecticut, native scored a 355.90 in the one-meter, while totaling a 386.85 in the three-meter, breaking previous records from 1987 and 1994.
He also secured the gold medal in both events in all five meets this season, so far, including in a scrimmage against Yale.
