Seven Minutemen Earn All-MVC Accolades

Hudson Bawduniak headlined the awards with an All-MVC First Team honor.
AMHERST, Mass – Seven members of the University of Massachusetts men's swimming and diving team earned Missouri Valley Conference All-Conference accolades, highlighted by freshman Hudson Bawduniak's All-MVC First Team honor.
Additionally, junior Jude Boukarroum, freshmen Carson Harrington and Liam Hickey, sophomores Chase Keeler and Alex Kreidler, and senior Sammy Quigg tabbed All-MVC Honorable Mention.
To be named to the First Team, an individual must be one of the top-three finishers, while honorable mentions are those who placed fourth through eighth in any event.
Bawduniak garnered a spot on the All-MVC First Team after placing second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 53.15 and taking third in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 1:57.92.
Boukarroum took seventh in the 1,650 freestyle with a time of 15:45.03 to take earn honorable mention status. Harrington posted a score of 312.00 in the three-meter dive to place sixth in the event.
Hickey swam into fifth-place with a time of 1:45.83 in the 200 backstroke.
Keeler posted a time of 3:52.81 in the 400 individual medley to sit seventh in the event, as the time marked the second-best in program history. The sophomore also took sixth in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:46.37.
Kreidler sat in fourth in the one-meter dive with a six-dive total of 296.40. Quigg was sixth in the 100 freestyle with a time of 44.07.
