Swimming & Diving Conclude Scrimmage Against Yale

The Minutemen and Minutewomen combined for five first-place finishes.

AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts swimming and diving team completed its scrimmage against Yale on Saturday at the Joseph R. Rogers Jr., Pool.  
 
The Minutemen and Minutewomen combined for five first-place finishes on the day, which included two gold medals for junior Andrew Bell. Bell completed the one-meter dive with a score of 371.93, while totaling a 393.98 in the three-meter dive.
 
Sophomore Lindsay Burbage placed first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.20, while freshman Hannah Schoenauer touched the wall first in the 200 butterfly with a season-best time of 2:06.77. Sophomore Aydin Erkan collected a gold medal in the 200 butterfly for the Minutemen with a season-best time of 1:51.98.
 
The Minutewomen posted 18 personal- and seasonal-best times, including a personal-best time of 24.28 for freshman Elizabeth Lahmann in the 50 freestyle, while the Minutemen saw 18, as well, which included personal-bests for freshmen Cam Wright in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.70) and Chase Keeler in the 200 breaststroke (2:16.45)
