Massachusetts Women's Track & Field Finish Up At River Hawk Invitational

A select few athletes will be back in action tomorrow for the John Thomas Terrier Classic
BOSTON, Mass.- The University of Massachusetts women's track and field team competed at the River Hawk Invitational on Friday at the TRACK at New Balance. Courtney Rowland led the Minutewomen with a 5'6" high jump to take second.Â

- Freshman Ali Murphy placed second in the 60m dash with a time of 7.95.Â
- Ruth Michel jumped a personal best 38' 5.5" triple jump to take seventh.Â
- Senior Sarah Witt finished seventh in the 500m with a time of 1:18.67.Â
- Lara Mannes Diaz de Cerio took tenth in the 800m with a personal best time of 2:18.36.Â
- Rylee Shunney ran a personal best 5:09.75 in the mile to claim tenth.Â
- Anna Todd, Rylee Davis, and Sydney Adams all finished in the top 10 of the 5000m, placing sixth, seventh, and ninth respectively.Â
The Minutewomen are back in action tomorrow as a handful of athletes take on the John Thomas Terrier Classic. The following athletes are expected to compete:Â
