Minutewomen Show Out At 2026 NEICAAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships

EASTON, Mass. — The University of Massachusetts women's track and field program had a impressive performance at the 2026 NEICAAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Stonehill College. The Minutewomen placed third overall with a score of 78 points, including seven podium finishes. 

Highlights from competition:
  • Maia Perillo earned gold in the women's pole vault with a clear of 11'9.75". 
  • Leila Metres secured silver in the women's  400m dash, finishing in 56.97. Ali Murphy placed fourth with a time of 57.33. 
  • Ingibjorg Sigurdardottir earned silver in the women's 400m hurdles with a time of 1:00.65. 
  • Jillian Strynar, Jana DeRaedt, Chloe Guthrie and Ashley Johnson combined to run a 46.24 in the women's 4x100m relay, securing silver. 
  • Bridget Lee earned bronze in the women's long jump with a leap of 18'7". 
  • Eve Segal secured bronze with a toss of 44'0" in the women's shot put. Segal also earned bronze in the women's discus with a throw of 139'1". 
  • Tesaira Williams (4th) and Jennifer Williams (5th) placed consecutively in the women's 100m hurdles with times of 14.05 and 14.13, respectively. 
  • Jillian Strynar placed fourth in the women's 100m dash with a finish of 12.06. 
  • Jana DeRaedt placed fourth in the women's 200m dash with a time of 24.77. 
  • Skylar Fox placed seventh in the women's 800m run with a time of 2:13.01.
