Outdoor: Earned 3rd place in the 4x400 meter relay (Murphy, Mannes Diaz de Cerio, Okwara, Witt) with a time of 3:58.42 minutes and placed 7th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.34 seconds at the Black & Gold Invitational (3/29-30)... Earned 1st place in the 4x400 meter relay (Witt, Headley-Mawasi, Murphy, Hanafin) with a time of 3:53.66 minutes and earned 1st place in the 4x100 meter relay (Headley-Mawasi, Hanafin, Gorgenyi, Murphy) with a time of 48.14 seconds at the UMASS Flagship Opener (4/7)... Earned 2nd place and set a new personal record in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.61 seconds and earned 2nd place in the 4x100 meter relay (Murphy, Hanafin, Wood, Hernandez) with a time of 48.99 seconds at the UMASS Commonwealth Invitational (4/13)... Before UMass: Competed at Norton High School where she was a two year captain… Holds the school record in the 400m, 200m indoor, 300m, SMR, DMR, and 4x100m… Named league MVP twice… Came in 11th in the 400m at the Nationals Championship her junior year… Placed sixth in the 400m at the Nationals Rising Stars her senior year… two time Division 5 champion in the 300m… TVL champion five times… As the Secretary of the Art Honors Society, Murphy earned the Presidential Art Award, JFK Art Award, Georgia Okeef Art Award, and was an Art Scholastic Honorable mention.

Personal: From Norton, Mass… Daughter of Janet Hale and Todd Murphy… Sister to Hunter, Sawyer, Natalie, and Rachael… Pursuing a degree in Studio Art.
