Women’s Lacrosse Announces 16-Game Schedule For 2024

UMass opens the regular season on Feb. 9 at Boston College before the home opener on Feb. 17 against Brown.
AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts women's lacrosse team announced its 16-game regular season schedule on Thursday afternoon. The Minutewomen host eight games during the regular season at Garber Field and play five of their nine Atlantic 10 contests on their home turf.
UMass begins regular season action on the road on Friday, Feb. 9 with a 4 p.m. start at Boston College. The Minutewomen return home for the next two contests against Brown on Feb. 17 and Holy Cross on Feb. 27 before hitting the road for three straight games.
The Atlantic 10 opener caps off the three-game road trip on March 9 in Fairfax, Va. against George Mason and is followed by the home conference opener for the Minutewomen on Saturday, March 16 against Saint Joseph's at 1 p.m. Following a road matchup at La Salle on March 20, UMass returns to Garber Field for two straight league games against St. Bonaventure on March 23 and Davidson on March 30.
The Minutewomen head to Duquesne for the second to last A-10 road contest on April 6 and takes on non-conference foe UMass Lowell in Lowell on April 9. UMass plays three consecutive at Garber Field to follow, beginning with VCU on Saturday, April 13 before hosting UConn in the final non-conference game of the year on April 17.
The final home A-10 regular season game is on April 20 against George Washington at 3 p.m. UMass then heads to Richmond for the regular season final on April 27 at 12 p.m.
The A-10 Championships are set to begin with first round play on Thursday, May 2 at Duquesne in Pittsburgh, Pa. The semifinals are slated for Friday, May 3 with the finals scheduled for Sunday, May 5.
