AMHERST, Mass - The University of Massachusetts men's soccer team will travel to Dayton this Saturday for the regular season finale against the Flyers. Kick off is set for 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.

Last Time Out
Last Saturday, the Minutemen celebrated a 3-1 win over the first place Davidson Wildcats on Senior Day. Every goal contribution came from a senior, as five of the eight players recognized recorded a point. Goalkeeper Matt Zambetti earned his first collegiate point in the contest off a goal from Alec Hughes, who recorded his ninth multi goal game. Nick Zielonka and Mike Willis each had multiple points as Zielonka scored the Minutemen's first goal and assisted another while Willis assisted a pair. Ryan Levay also picked up an assist in the win.

Series vs. Dayton
Saturday's game will mark the 27th time UMass and Dayton will face each other. The all-time series is currently 10-13-3 in favor of the Flyers. The Minutemen won last year's meeting 2-1 at Rudd Field but dropped the three prior to Dayton.

Moving Up In The Record Books
After recording a brace against Davidson, Alec Hughes sits in a tie for 5th place all-time in career goals at UMass with 33. Hughes' two scores tied him with Andy Bing (1984-87) and Clarence Simpson (1951-54). His 13 tallies this year is good for first in the conference and second in the nation.

Nick Zielonka has also etched his name in the record books this season. Zielonka's nine assists puts him in a tie for fifth in single season assists at UMass. He is tied with Jonathan Bibb (1999) and Justin Edelman (1992) while also leading the conference.

Talking Playoffs
After their win over Davidson, the Minutemen have secured a spot in the Atlantic 10 playoffs. UMass is currently fourth in the A-10 with a conference record of 4-2-1 and 13 points. Each conference win is worth three and a tie is worth one. Based on how Saturday's games play out within the conference, The Minutemen can be seeded anywhere from first to seventh. With a win against Dayton this Saturday, UMass will secure a home quarterfinal game next week.
