Norberg Highlights Men’s Track & Field’s Night At Friar Invitational

The sophomore ran the fifth-fastest steeplechase time in program history.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Michael Norberg's performance in the 3,000 meter steeplechase highlighted University of Massachusetts men's track & field's trip to the Friar Invitational at Providence College on Friday evening. The sophomore took third in 3,000 meter steeplechase, running 8 minutes, 56.03 seconds to third, the fifth-fastest time in program history.
Also finishing in the top-eight for the Minutemen, Daniel Dubsky was the runner-up in 400 meter hurdles, posting a time of 54.92 seconds, while Sean McKay was fourth in 56.89 seconds.
Javier Donegan ran 51.55 seconds to fifth in the 400 meter dash.
UMass will return to action on Saturday, April 9, remaining in Providence for the Ocean State Invitational, hosted by Brown.
