Minutemen Place Fourth in A10 Outdoor Championships

AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts men's track and field team finished fourth in the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships with 91.5 points. The Minutemen totaled eight medalists and 19 student-athletes scoring points over the weekend in Fairfax, Va.

Highlights from Competition:
- Jason DeJesus, Winston Lewis, Chamberlain Guthrie and Godot Gaskins combined to run a 41.61 in the men's 4x100m relay, taking fifth-place.
- Will Kenney took seventh in the men's 1500m run with a time of 3:51.02.
- Gaskins took silver in the men's 400m, crossing in 47.25. Michael Harden rounded out the top five with a time of 48.44. Gaskins also scored in the men's 200m dash, placing fifth with a time of 21.42.
- Robert Carew secured his second medal of the weekend, taking bronze in the men's 5K with a time of 14:23.42.
- Carson Crump earned a bronze medal in the men's high jump clearing a bar of 6'5". Tory Stuckey also scored clearing the same height for seventh.
- Aiden Donovan had a stellar throwing day, taking silver in both the men's discus and men's shot put with tosses of 159'5" and 53'8.5".
- Matthew Acquah rounded out the top-five of the men's triple jump with a leap of 48'9".
