Men's Track & Field Begins Action at UCF

Ten Minutemen compete on day one of the Black & Gold Invitational.
ORLANDO, Fla. – University of Massachusetts men's track and field opened up its outdoor campaign on Friday at UCF's Black and Gold Invitational. The Minutemen competed in the long jump, 200-meter dash, and the 400-meter hurdles in the unscored meet.
In the 400-meter hurdles, Daniel Dubsky finished in sixth place with a time of 55.42 seconds. Also in action were Denzel Agyeman (11th, 56.52 seconds), Sean McKay (14th, 57.53 seconds), and Nasir Perry (59.27 seconds).
Tyler Glendon, the lone Minuteman competing in the long jump, jumped 21' 0.5", good for 24th.
Lucas Honohan crossed the finish line in the 200-meter dash 21.61 seconds, good for 20th place on the day. The four other Minutemen who saw action in this race are Felipe Gonzalez (36th, 22.38 seconds), Michael Rodia (37th, 22.42 seconds), Patrick Walsh (52nd, 22.81 seconds), and Christopher Matthews (56th, 22.91 seconds).
Action will resume on Saturday at UCF with the men's triple jump starting at 12:00 p.m.
