Unbeaten Streak
The Minutewomen come into the week on a nine-match unbeaten streak dating back to a 3-0 shutout win over UMass Lowell on Aug. 26. UMass holds a 6-0-3 record during the span as they tied the longest unbeaten streak since the 2019 campaign.

The League Table
UMass currently sits tied for second in the Atlantic 10 standings with a 2-0-1 mark in league play while VCU sits in first with a 3-0-0 record. The Minutewomen have five league games remaining on the schedule, including three matches against teams in the top-six of the standings.

The Opponents
George Washington heads into tomorrow's matchup coming off their first win of the season, a 3-1 win over Richmond on Sunday at home. The Colonials are led offensively by Kelly Amador and Sammy Neyman's two goals each while three keepers have split time in goal led by Tamaki Machi's 11 games played and started. VCU holds a 7-2 record and a perfect 3-0 mark in A-10 play after most recently defeating George Mason 4-1 on Sunday. The Rams will take on Saint Louis on Thursday.

Minutewomen Among A-10 Leaders
Chandler Pedolzky ranks tied for fifth in the Atlantic 10 in points with 11 and ranks tied for sixth in gooals with four. Lauren Smida is tied for second in the league with two game-winning goals.

Atlantic 10 Co-Offensive Player Of The Week
Karina Groff was named the Atlantic 10 Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon. Groff scored in both games and put home her first goal of the week in the 20th-minute of a 2-0 win over George Mason in the home conference opener on Thursday. The freshman closed out the week with a goal in the third-minute of a 1-1 draw against Rhode Island on Sunday and put five of her six shot attempts on goal for the week.
