PITTSBURGH -- The Massachusetts women's lacrosse team (7-2, 2-0) used a 10-0 first half run, eight points from Kaitlyn Cerasi (3-5—8) and seven from Haley Connaughton (5-2—7) en route to its sixth straight win in a 21-4 victory at Duquesne (2-1, 1-1) on Thursday at Rooney Field.
The victory moves UMass into a tie for first place in the Atlantic 10 North standings with Saint Joseph's and recorded the fewest goals against vs. a conference opponent since the 2018 season (Apr. 6, 2018 vs. St. Bonaventure).

It was more of the same for Massachusetts with the clock running in the second half, opening with a 6-0 run to crack the 20-goal plateau for the third time this season and second in the last three games.
