Massachusetts Men's Lacrosse Announces 2022 Schedule

The Gorillas will play seven games at Garber Field, beginning with a Feb. 19 matchup vs. UMass Lowell.
AMHERST, Mass. – Seven home contests and six road matchups comprise the 2022 University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse schedule, which was announced on Wednesday. The Gorillas will open the season at Army on February 12 at 1 p.m. to kick off the 13-game slate.
On Saturday, February 19, UMass will host UMass Lowell for its home opener at Garber Field for a 1 p.m. start. Massachusetts will be on the road for their its two contests, heading to Boston University on Saturday, February 26, and then to Yale on Saturday, March 5, with both games set for 1 p.m.
The Maroon & White will begin a three-game home stand on Tuesday, March 8, against UAlbany at 3 p.m., followed by meetings with LIU and Vermont on Saturday, March 12, and Wednesday, March 16, respectively, scheduled for 1 p.m. starts.
Massachusetts will wrap up its non-conference schedule at Brown on Saturday, March 26 at 1 p.m., before opening CAA action at home against Delaware on Saturday, April 2 at 1 p.m.
On Saturday, April 9, the Gorillas will travel to Towson for a 1 p.m. meeting against the Tigers before welcoming Fairfield to Garber on Saturday, April 16, at 3:30 p.m.
A trip to Hofstra on Saturday, April 23, will mark UMass' final regular season road contest, a 1 p.m. matchup. Massachusetts will then host Drexel on Friday, April 29, at 4 p.m. for the 2022 home finale.
The CAA Tournament will be hosted by Drexel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, May 5 and 7.
