UMass’ Bagnall Named Atlantic 10 Men’s Lacrosse Rookie Of The Week

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse freshman midfielder/attack Thomas Bagnall has been selected as the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday. It marks Bagnall's first career weekly honor and the sixth weekly award for the Gorillas this season.

Bagnall recorded his first collegiate hat trick, which included a man-down goal, in UMass' 9-7 win at St. Bonaventure last Saturday. The Oakville, Ontario native added two ground balls and two caused turnovers in the victory, as well.

UMass will be back in action this Saturday, April 4, when the squad will play host to Saint Joseph's at 3 p.m. on Garber Field.
