Ashley Lamond scored and dished out two assists as five different Minutewomen scored in the win.

AMHERST, Mass. The University of Massachusetts women's soccer team put home five unanswered goals on the way to a 5-1 win over St. Bonaventure in the Atlantic 10 Quarterfinals on Sunday at Rudd Field. The No. 4-seed Minutewomen (10-5-4 Overall, 5-3-2 Atlantic 10) will take on No. 8-seed Saint Joseph's in the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 5 in Dayton, Ohio in their third consecutive trip to the league's semifinal game.

St. Bonaventure took a 1-0 lead on a McKenna Robinson goal in the fifth-minute before the Minutewomen rattled off five consecutive goals.

UMass broke into the scoring in the 12th-minute on an Ashley Lamond goal that was headed in off a Mia Carazza cross into the near post. Lamond finished the game with a goal and two assists and got into the action again in the 30th-minute, finding Serena Ahmed in front of goal to give the Minutewomen a 2-1 lead heading into the locker room for halftime.

The Minutewomen closed out the game with three second half goals, including two in the final seven minutes of play. Carazza and Lamond connected for a goal once again in the 56th-minute, this time on a ball that was headed on by Lamond to Carazza in front of goal to put the Minutewomen up 3-1.

Olivia Gouldsbury extended the lead to three in the 84th-minute after Bella Recinos navigated her way through a handful of Bonnies defenders before playing a pass across goal to an open Gouldsbury in front. Lauren Robles scored the fifth and final goal in the last minute of play off a Chandler Pedolzky assist to bring the score to a 5-1 final.

UMass outshot St. Bonaventure 25 to nine and put 14 shots on target. Bella Mendoza picked up five second-half saves for the Minutewomen while Megan Olszewski added a save in the opening half.
