Men’s Soccer Falls At #10 Pitt

Yosuke Hanya scored his first goal of the season in the 24th-minute to equalize.
Marvyn Dorchin recorded all four of his saves on the night for the Minutemen in the first half as he picked up his first in the second minute on a Pitt shot from in close.
The Panthers broke through moments later in the fifth minute on a Guilherme Feitosa goal that was headed in at the near post to go ahead 1-0. Pittsburgh finished the game with 17 shots and nine on target.
Yosuke Hanya equalized for the Minutemen in the 24th-minute with his first goal of the year to tie at 1-1. Hanya's goal put him at seven points on the season.
Pittsburgh scored four goals in the second half of play, going ahead 2-1 in the 51st-minute on a Jasper Loeffelsend goal before another goal from a similar spot on the field by Loeffelsend in the 68th-minute brought the score to 3-1. The Panthers added goals in the 73rd and 78th minutes.
Ryan Levay nearly equalized in the 52nd-minute after UMass went down 2-1, heading the ball down towards goal following a long throw to force a diving save out of Pittsburgh's Nico Campuzano. The Minutemen finished the game with six shots and two on target.
