Lauren Hiller Named A-10 Defensive Player of the Week

Hiller backstopped the Minutewomen to a two-win week
AMHERST, Mass. – After leading the No. 19 Massachusetts women's lacrosse team to a pair of victories last week, senior goalkeeper Lauren Hiller has been named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
The North Andover, Mass. Native made five saves on 11 shots faced in 42 minutes on Monday at UMass Lowell, backstopping the Minutewomen to a 21-8 victory. She followed it up with 15 saves and one ground ball against Ohio State on Sunday to help UMass to a 21-16 win.
Hiller is 3-1 on the young season, and will be back in action with the Minutewomen on Saturday when UMass travels to Connecticut for 1 p.m. matchup with the Huskies.
