Massachusetts Seeded Fifth in Atlantic 10 Tournament

Minutewomen will host St. Bonaventure in First Round on Tuesday at the Mullins Center
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts women's basketball has been seeded fifth in the 2020 Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Tournament. The Minutewomen will host No. 12 seed St. Bonaventure in the First Round on Tues., March 3 in a 7 p.m. game at the Mullins Center.
The winner will advance to the Quarterfinals at UD Arena on Fri., March 6 and face either No. 4 seed Saint Louis or No. 13 seed George Mason.

The Minutewomen are in the midst of their most successful season in recent memory, entering the tournament with a 19-10 record. The most victories in a season since 1997-98, UMass accomplished the feat in part thanks to an 11-game winning streak which was a program-record and ranked as high as third-longest in the country among active runs.
